Rylee’s Shred Fundraiser Recap: A Beautiful Day of Community, Support & Surprises
Recap of Rylee’s Shred Event Fundraiser — This past weekend, Liberty had the privilege of hosting a special community Shred Event Fundraiser in support of Rylee and her upcoming educational trip to Washington, D.C. — and what an incredible turnout it was!
This past Saturday’s shred fundraiser for Rylee became an unforgettable community moment. To begin, thank you to everyone who came out to support her journey. Because of your generosity, she is now closer to attending her educational trip to Washington, D.C. Every donation—big or small— moved her one step forward. Most importantly, the encouragement she received throughout the day meant the world to her and her family.
Despite the gloomy forecast leading up to the event, the weather gave us a beautiful and unexpected gift. While the wind certainly made its presence known, the clouds parted just in time, revealing crisp blue skies that lifted everyone’s spirits. And then—almost as if the moment was meant just for Rylee—something magical happened. A bright, colorful rainbow stretched across the sky right above the event, creating a picture-perfect scene that stopped people in their tracks.
And at the end of that rainbow?
The Liberty Shred Truck stood there glowing in the sunlight, looking every bit like the day’s very own pot of gold. It was a special, symbolic reminder that the community’s support, generosity, and good energy were all coming together to help Rylee get one step closer to Washington, D.C.
Families, friends, and community members showed up with documents to shred, smiles to share, and generosity to give. The turnout was fantastic, the atmosphere was warm, and the sense of community was stronger than ever.
