Despite the steady rain, the event was filled with energy, generosity, and familiar faces. Parents, teachers, neighbors, and supporters from all over the community came out to safely shred their documents and help the students move closer to their upcoming educational field trip. Thanks to their efforts, the 8th graders raised over $900, bringing them one major step closer to making their trip a reality.

The 8th graders of Heritage Christian Academy showed up ready to work — greeting visitors, helping carry boxes, and sharing their excitement about the upcoming trip. Their dedication and enthusiasm were a big part of the event’s success, and seeing them take ownership of their fundraising efforts was truly inspiring.

Every dollar raised brings them closer not just to a trip, but to a milestone educational experience they’ll remember for years.
